Frankenfingers
I have had no luck with buying winter gloves on Amazon, and these ones are no exception. I wear ski gloves, motorcycle gloves, work gloves – never a problem with fit. These gloves, however, are made for frankenfingers. They do not run small. They are about .5 to 1 inch too long. The thumb and the back of the hand fit fine. Just the 4 fingers have too much empty space in the front. There are gloves for sale here where reviewers reported frankenthumbs. With these gloves, the thumb fits fine. A smaller size would not have fit me at all, because they are a bit tight to get into.
Other things to note: the label says “Brooks Brothers”, the country of origin is China, not India, as advertised. And please note that only the CUFF is fur – the inside liner is polyester, a not so small detail that I missed. I suppose that these gloves are “overstock” or returned gloves that BB cannot sell because of the fit issues.
Overall verdict: a pair of medium quality gloves at a much too high price point with poor fit.
