Not able to access a NAS in an AD domain?

Problem:

– QNAP NAS is a member of a Windows domain
– A share has domain security, i.e. is accessible only for domain group members or domain users
– You can’t access the share from a client that is not a domain member

No matter how often you enter the domain user id and password.
