We had a vinyl pool put in this past summer, and our vermiculite floor had boot prints in it and rocks! This looks like it is nicely laid - but I am just a homeowner, not a professional. For some "objective" guidelines for quality - please reach out to the association for pool and spa professionals, they have a "workmanship standards" document which defines what is acceptable, and what is not. The document is called "IAF 2005 Workmanship Guidelines and Practices for Residential Inground Swimming Pools and Spas". Good luck! I think this looks GREAT!
