You guys are great! I paid $40 to have my blackjack2 unlocked to work for tmobile and my internet still did not work. The information you have provided was all I needed! Works great now!

i have the blackjack I617 from at&t on t-mobile cant get the mms to work. the steps posted don’t seem to apply. i highlighted messaging then hit menu. add speed dial is all that pops up. i also try to select messaging but nothing happens. please help

Will the internet portion of this work without the internet plan for smartphones? And just wit the regular tmobile internet package..

For me, I had to do what “joelthrow” mentions above, but STILL got an error until I also changed the WAP connection:
Go to Settings – Connections (6) – Wireless Manager (1)
With Wireless Manager highlighted (do not press the OK on joystick), select Menu then Advanced.

WAP connection – Select TMobile or whatever you named your GPRS for connecting to the Internet.

One step is missing from the above instructions. It took me a while to figure this out so I wanted to share the knowledge.

Once you have entered all the information required as per the previous postings, here is one last step to do and you will be online.

Go to Settings – Connections (6) – Wireless Manager (1)
With Wireless Manager highlighted (do not press the OK on joystick), select Menu then Advanced.

Internet connection – Select TMobile or whatever you named your GPRS for connecting to the Internet.

Select Done and exit out of there.

You should now be on the internet when you go to the Explorer.

I followed the steps and still get “The publisher has deactived this connection” when I try to connect to the internet. I tried finding a way to manually make it connect using the T-Mobile setting but was unable. I also tried to change the connections in the internet explorer but none worked. Please help. Thank you.

Is the ACCESS POINT and other specifics different for different countries (i.e. T-Mobile UK)? This isn’t working out for me so far. I’ve tried a few different T-Mobile GPRS settings.
