Actually, I never thought to check if I paid with available PayPal balance or by instant transfer from my bank. It was fully funded from my bank. Heh. Thanks for your help Ian. My bank is very aggressive about any problems brought to their attention. Maybe I can put this behind me soon.

A Magnum.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I'll try that with my bank.

I finally found my confirmation # and set it to paypal. Thought I had lost it and couldnt prove I sent the chip back last month.

Anyway, I am finished and AFAIAC am done with this entirely. I feel sorry for the people who got negative feedback from Mr Seals, but then that is the way ebay works and it is a lesson for all. I contacted Mr Seals and got an RMA and held off on any feedback.

If I get my money back and an apology I will drop the bbs complaint as well.

This is my first post here, and I was also burned by this seller. Mr. Seals personally told me to send the defective ram back for a replacement. I mailed this back before the bad feedback started showing up en masse. Never received a replacement. Filed with PayPal and was denied since I had mailed back the RAM long before without tracking. Sure, I erred, but never had a reason to believe that this seller with decent feedback would later tell PayPal he didn't get my USPS shipment. My claim is denied and my case was closed after my reasonable explanation as to why I couldn't provide PayPal with "tracking number of shipment" to receive my buyer protection refund. Shame on alarmacar and shame on ebay(paypal) I am either suing PayPal in California courts or filing charges in Tennessee. Mr Seals can decide this for me.

Alarmacar is an idiot, lets get past that. But how about Class Action Lawsuit against Ebay? I cannot respect their business ethics and the way they hide their tails when it comes to the bad side of business. I will not forget this Ebay experience. Once I graduate law school, I definitely will be looking for more options.
